Your by the numbers doesn't sound too positive or fun, especially that whole spider the size of my fist thing and the malaria part. I thought they had a vaccine for malaria?? doesn't it have something to do with iodine...or i could be totally just making that up, who knows. But the whole new songs thing is cool, who knew you could get cultered in American ways in Africs? oh, and was the goat cute or just annoying and stinky? Because a cute goat might be fun to wake up to, as long as it wasn't trying to eat you blanket or something...anyways, glad your having in intersting time!
This entry was like flash back to DM videos playing throughout the night.
And the number of any sort of crawling thing and waking up to them.... um, i'm not sure i would be able to do what you're doing for that reason alone....
Vic told me he filled you in on the celebrity gossip here. crazy right? if i were you, i'd be glad to have a break from it all.
my goodness, kristin... "cute goat." Oh dear. Anyways, I hope you're feeling better and know that i'm rooting/praying/thinking about you while you're out there teaching.
miss you and heart you mucho.

Glad to hear you're A-Okay. I have to say, waking up to giant bugs and spiders on the ceiling isn't exactly what I would look forward to as an experience. and goats... you're room must smell nice. But hey! Look on the bright side, if you've lived in Africa you can live anywhere. You won't even bother with electricity when you come back!
Liz =)
